Week 1 - Katy

Team 9448, the Wave Wranglers, made an impact during the first week of competition at the FIRST Robotics event in Katy. One of the most astonishing feats of the event was the creation of Wave Wranglers' new robot, Soundbite, which came to life in an incredible 3-hour build session. This impressive achievement was made possible with the invaluable assistance of Team 3847 Spectrum, whose guidance and support were instrumental in bringing the Wave Wranglers' vision to life.

In addition, Team 9448 had the honor of receiving the Rookie Inspiration award. This prestigious award recognizes a first year team's outstanding success in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering and engineers, both within their school and throughout their community.
